Frequently Asked Questions
1. How big are your containers?
20 yard containers are about:
(16' long x 8' wide x 7' high)
Capacity - 20 cubic yards = about 6 full size pickup truck loads
2. What is C and D?
C and D stands for construction and debris and is basically any material
used in the construction of a building and includes: windows, doors,
sheet rock/plaster, guttering and carpet.
3. What is MSW?
MSW stands for Municipal Solid Waste. This is the trash you throw out
everyday at home. This also includes furniture and appliances.
4. Do I have to call to have the container picked up?
When you are finished with the container, call us and schedule a pick
up. If you need another can to continue/finish the project, let us know
so we can bring a new container when we come to pick up the other
container.
5. How much can I put in the can?
Our containers are marked with a sticker marking the "fill to" line.
The lines are there as a guideline to ensure that we are in compliance
with D.O.T - Department of Transportation. Any items stacked above the
line with be removed for pick up or will be rejected until you have the
problem fixed. Important: Once you have the can, it is your
responsibility until we pick it up. Make neighbors aware that it costs
money to rent the can and that it is not for community use. -Covering
your container with a tarp helps keep down on the amount of people
helping you fill the container up!
6. Can the containers damage my property?
YES. Our containers are very heavy and "roll-off" onto the ground
onto their steel-constructed wheels. Hard surfaces such as driveways are
preferable to place the containers because putting them on lawns can
cause damage from the weight of the containers sinking into them. We
will not cross other neighbors' property lines without signed damage
liability waiver form from the property owner. We reserve the right to
deny placement of our containers on any area that is not safe.
